Tax Collector

To look up your tax records online use the links below. Be sure to select the desired year from the drop down tab. It will always default to the currect collection cycle year.

ONLY ENTER ONE FIELD OF INFORMATION ON REQUEST FORM. LAST NAME WORKS BEST.

School Taxes     https://infotaxonline.com/FindProperty.aspx?51 (can be contacted at 518-758-7575 ext. 3001) We DO NOT collect school taxes.

Online Payments can be made through the link on the main page ("Pay my Tax Bill"). Again, only enter one field of information when attemtping to locate a bill. 

The taxes are mailed out at the end of December. They are due without penalty by January 31st.  Interest at 1% per month is assessed beginning February 1st.  Second notices are mailed out at the end of March and a $2.00 second notice fee is then attached to any outstanding balance (in addition to the appropriate percentage of interest).

Town Collection ends on May 31st. Remaining balances are turned over to the Columbia County Treasurers Office.

Please note that all 2023 Property Taxes will be paid at the Bank of Greene County at their Valatie location (in the Ocean State Job Lot Plaza, 2827 US 9, Valatie, NY) during their normal business hours.

Pay IN PERSON:

At the Valatie Branch of The Bank of Greene County during regular business hours.

(located in the Ocean State Job Lot Plaza. 2827 US 9  Valatie, NY 12184).

Hours of operation: 

Mon-Wed:  9 am – 4:30 pm

Thurs:        9 am – 5 pm

Fri:             9 am – 6 pm

Sat:            9 am – 1 pm
